FlutesThere is another side to our business that most flutists do not realize exists. I started the company in 1991, building on years of experience in instrument repair. From that time I have not only been repairing, I have also been providing tools and supplies to technicians and manufacturers. Today, my company designs and builds specialty tools and parts for instrument makers worldwide. This keeps us at the forefront of current instrument technology, and allows us a unique perspective from which to understand the instruments

Clarinet & Oboe Services (flute services - saxophone services)

Mechanical Restoration
All instruments are completely and carefully disassembled.  All of the keys, the body joints, bell and barrel are thoroughly cleaned with deposits removed.  Wooden instruments are lightly oiled with bore oil as required. Tone holes are corrected as needed and faced true.  Springs are tested and replaced as necessary*.  All tenon corks are replaced.  All pads, and key bumpers are replaced with the highest-grade materials.  All mechanism including rod screws, pivot screws, and hinge tubes are cleaned and oiled. Keys are refitted as needed on student model instruments and to exacting tolerances on professional quality instruments*. Pads will be seated to cover with a light touch.  Key to key adjustment, key height and lost motion are regulated to exacting standards.  Finally, the instrument is allowed to set, re-examined for regulation, then thoroughly play-tested for confirmation.
